SERIES: IN DEFENCE OF THE SUNNI CREED AND MANHAJ - No.10

This is an English rendition of 'Aqidah Firqatun Najiyyah - The Creed of the Saved Sect' of Shaykh al-Allamah al-Muhaddith Abu Muhamamd Abdul Haq al-Hashmi. Abu Turab az-Zahiri said: my father Abu Muhammad Abdul Haq al-Hashimi dictated this brief and summarised creed in 1382H. He died 10 years later when his age exceeded 90 years

His Eminence, Shaykh Abdul Aziz b. Abdullah b. Baz said in the introduction of the book,

I have viewed the ʿAqīdah which al-Shaykh al-Allāmah Nāṣir al-Sunnah wa Qāmeʿ al-Bidʿah Abū Muḥammad ʿAbd al-Ḥaqq al-Hashimī dictated. It is an illustrious ʿAqīdah which I found conforms to the ʿAqīdah of Ahl al-Sunnah waʾl Jamāʿah in chapters concerning al-Tawḥīd, al-Imān and the Attributes and names of Allāh from what the Companions M of Prophet H were upon. May Allāh reward him with much good and raise his rank amongst the senior scholars of guidance. May Allāḥ reward him for what he wrote in defending and preserving the Sunnah and make his offspring righteous. May he utilise them to manifest the truth and make them steadfast upon guidance. I ask Allāh E to envelop Shaykh ʿAbd al-Ḥaqq in his mercy and pleasure, may he forgive his sins and raise his rank. May Allāh, forgive all our Mashaykh and our companions for the sake of Allāh in Jannah (Dār al-Karāmah) on a good and blessed ending in the company of righteous worshippers, without any shame and disgrace, for indeed he is the guardian and has the power. And Allāh is the helper and there is no power and no strength except with Allāh and Allāh is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs. May there be peace and blessings on the best of creation, the leaders of the Messengers, our Prophet and leader, Muḥammad, his Family, his Companions and everyone that traverses their methodology until the Day of Resurrection
